She had two goals and eight games of her own, helping the magicJack achieve a league-leading third place finish in the year. The magicJack disbanded in late 2011 and in the WPS folded in early 2012. Rapinoe was part of Sydney Football Club FC in the Australian W-League for a couple games before she returned to America. In the following year, she was a player with the Seattle Washington Sounders Women - now Sound FC. She was in France in 2013 during the football season. When the WPS was disbanded, she joined Seattle Reign FC (now OL Reign) of the National Women's Soccer League NWSL. Rapinoe was one of the top team scorers, and later became the coach of the club. Rapinoe's two goals were in the 4-3-2 United States victory against Australia in the Olympics in 2020 Tokyo. Japan, however, was delayed to 2021 after the COVID-19 virus was over.
